ISO 14001 Certification for Auer Signal

In the first quarter of 2024, Auer Signal successfully completed the ISO 14001:2015 audit and received this certification for the first time, demonstrating the company's commitment to environmental management and sustainable corporate governance. The audit was conducted by Quality Austria.

The ISO 14001:2015 certification is not only proof of our continuous efforts to meet and exceed environmental standards, but also an important step towards continuously improving Auer Signal's processes and products.

Digital progress and environmental protection go hand in hand

At Auer Signal, digital transformation and environmental protection go hand in hand. Over the past two years, the company has worked hard to digitize its processes, not only to increase efficiency, but also to reduce its environmental footprint. A significant reduction in paper consumption has been achieved, particularly in Customer Service, but also in other departments. "By digitizing many of our daily routines, we have been able to drastically reduce the amount of materials we use," says the manager of the Customer Service department.

Material reduction through innovative product development

As part of our product development, we place great emphasis on minimizing material consumption. Through innovative approaches in the design phase of our signaling devices, we have been able to achieve material savings. Our approach begins at the design stage of new products, where opportunities to conserve resources are identified. For new products and development projects, our goal is to produce environmentally friendly signaling devices. 

Focus on sustainable mobility

As part of our efforts to make the company more sustainable, we have also initiated the switch to electric cars. "We have not yet completely converted our fleet, but all new vehicles are purchased as e-cars," explains the fleet manager. This gradual transition underlines our commitment to a greener future.

Responsible Supply Chain

We focus on sustainability not only internally, but also in our relationships with our suppliers. We welcome partners who are also committed to sustainable practices and actively work to motivate our existing suppliers to do the same. It is important to us that our supply chain reflects our values and actively contributes to a more sustainable economy.
